Two men were arrested in KwaDukuza on Thursday for killing IFP councillor, KwaZulu Natal police said.Superintendent Jay Naicker said the men were arrested for the murder of Elliot Maphumulo at his homestead in Manada Reserve on Wednesday around 8pm.
"We arrested them after following up on information linking them to the murder. At the moment we haven't formally charged them but they are facing a charge of murder," said Naicker.
During the arrest police found the suspected murder weapon.
